The World Design Capital Conference 2026 was held in Shanghai from September 28 to 30. The conference was co-hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and UNESCO. Numerous domestic and international brands and design institutions took part, and CNFSimulator products were exhibited alongside many other outstanding works. CnTech was invited to the conference and presented the CNFSimulator A320 Throttle Quadrant in Songjiang, Shanghai.
CNFSimulator A320 Throttle Quadrant
The throttle quadrant sits on the center pedestal of the A320 flight deck and controls engine thrust. The CNFSimulator A320 Throttle Quadrant is designed to the parameters and operating logic of the Airbus A320 family. Its thrust levers are independent for each engine and cover the REV, IDLE, CL, MCT and TOGA positions, with metal reverse latches. Lever position is captured by high-precision Hall sensors, and lever resistance is user-adjustable. The trim wheel is motorized, with rotation angle and gear ratio matched to the real aircraft.
The panel carries the ENG MASTER switches, the engine mode selector, FIRE and FAULT indicator lights and the autothrust disconnect button. The frame is aluminum alloy. Used with the iFSim.Ready software, the quadrant connects to X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator and Prepar3D, and suits professional flight training and home cockpit construction.
The throttle quadrant belongs to the CnTech A320 cockpit component series. The series also includes the sidestick, overhead panel and instrument panels, which together form the control system of the CNFSimulator A320 full cockpit simulator.
CNFSimulator A320 Full Cockpit Simulator
The CNFSimulator A320 full cockpit simulator is built on a 1:1 layout of the Airbus A320 flight deck. The cockpit comprises the structure and interior, overhead panel, glareshield, front instrument panel, center pedestal with throttle quadrant, captain and first officer sidesticks and tillers, and rudder pedals. A visual system and a flight management computer complete the configuration. The simulator is used for teaching at aviation colleges, pilot procedure training and airline flight training.
Delivery covers the transport plan, on-site installation, visual system commissioning, technical training and final acceptance. CnTech engineers work on site during delivery to complete system integration and commissioning. After the device enters service, CnTech provides remote technical support and follows its operating status. The simulator has been delivered to flight schools and aviation institutions in multiple countries and regions.
